Summer Serenity: A Forest Bathing Journey at Old Kilpatrick

Embrace the Change of Seasons at Old Kilpatrick

Embrace the beauty of the late summer days and the arrival of autumn with Essence of the Soul, and immerse yourself in the rejuvenating practice of forest bathing at Old Kilpatrick, nestled near the stunning banks of the River Clyde. Rich in history, Old Kilpatrick marks the western end of the Antonine Wall, built by the Romans across central Scotland. Though the Roman fort and bathhouse are no longer visible, this site—constructed between 142-144 AD—earned World Heritage status in 2008. This special place, where history meets natural splendour, invites you to let the season’s bounty nourish both your body and soul.

Forest Bathing - A Path to Well-being

Life’s transitions often bring stress and disconnection. Forest bathing offers a peaceful sanctuary where you can harmonise with nature’s rhythms and rediscover inner tranquillity. Backed by scientific research, this practice is known to enhance mental, physical, and social well-being, fostering greater resilience and self-confidence.

A Journey Through Nature’s Embrace

At Old Kilpatrick, our guided sensory immersion forest bathing walks invite you to slow down and awaken your senses to the natural world around you. As you wander through the lush greenery and vibrant blooms, you’ll find solace and inspiration in the whispering leaves and gentle breeze. This is a space for deep listening, where you can connect with your inner self and those around you, allowing nature’s wisdom to guide you toward serenity.
